Shrimp Skewers
Shrimp skewers are a delicious and easy way to grill seafood. Here's a recipe for shrimp skewers:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before using)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Add the shrimp to the marinade, making sure that each shrimp is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
- Thread the shrimp onto skewers.
- Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice on top.
Serve with a side of grilled vegetables or a salad.
Note: Be careful not to over-cook the shrimp or it will become tough and less flavorful.
